Hi! I’m Mark, openXchange’s founding Strategic Advisor. I am a senior professional with a career spanning more than 40 years. I spent more than 30 years in the banking industry, 8 years in Government roles and 5+ years in an independent risk advisory capacity.

I have undertaken lead global roles in Risk, specialising in operational risk, risk due diligence and as a Chief Risk Officer in government organisations. My most recent assignments were focussed on risk management maturity transformation programs.

I have also undertaken a Chief Operating Officer role and other senior roles in Operations, Technology, Transformation programs, Internal Audit and Finance, plus several problem-solving and investigative special projects.

I have gained significant international experience through global roles, international assignments, and residency in multiple countries. Global roles were undertaken for major banks including Barclays Capital, Credit Suisse First Boston, Abbey/Santander, National Australia Bank and ANZ.
